Sativia is a joyful ten-year-old girl who brightens up any room she enters. However, Sativia suffers from a life-threatening medical condition that takes away from her free time to do the things she truly enjoys. That’s when the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas stepped in to grant Sativia a special wish of her own!
Since Sativia loves shopping, she decided she would like her wish to be to go on a shopping spree with her best friend, her younger sister Toloni. Her Wish Granters began to work very hard to make her wish everything she dreamed of and more!
That morning, Sativia and her family were picked up in their personal limo for the day! They first went to lunch at Furr’s Cafeteria, Sativia’s favorite. She was almost too excited to eat! After enjoying the delicious meal, they headed to Walmart, where she was able to shop like a princess in her specially decorated shopping cart, tiara and enjoy gifts and a card signed by over 100 employees! She purchased some great new outfits for herself and her babydolls, as well as jewelry, movies, a new camera and a T.V. After that Sativia and Toloni went to Sweet & Sassy for a manicure, pedicure, and mini-makeover! The girls looked beautiful and loved their peace-sign painted toes. They were ready to walk the runway!
Sativia and her family kept saying that this was the best day of their lives. They will forever remember the laughter and memories shared on this day. They now know the hope, joy, and strength that the power of a wish can bring into a life.
