Blair is a beautiful and sweet seventeen-year-old girl who loves reading books, watching her favorite movie A Walk to Remember, and listening to the Jonas Brothers. However, Blair battles a life-threatening neurological medical condition Moyamoya that often takes time away from her fun activities. The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of North Texas and Pilot International Foundation stepped in to grant Blair a special wish that she would never forget!

When Blair’s wish granters asked her what her one wish would be, Blair excitedly said she wanted to go to Disney World! Before heading off to the magical world of Walt Disney, Blair was surprised by Cinderella at the Pilot International Foundation Conference in Dallas, Texas! Blair was made an honorary princess and was given a tiara and sash from Cinderella, along with balloons, cake, and a Minnie Mouse bag filled with goodies! “This is the most I have ever seen her smile!” exclaimed Blair’s mom.

Blair and her family could hardly contain their excitement the moment they arrived at Give Kids the World Village in Orlando, Fl. At Give Kids the World, Blair was greeted by rabbit Mayor Clayton who told her she could eat ice cream anytime she wanted, play on the life-size game of Candy Land, or even swim in the huge swimming pool with its very own ship! It was a home away from home for Blair and her family where they could relax and enjoy spending time with each other.

While staying in Orlando, Blair got to visit all of the Walt Disney World parks, Universal Studios, and Sea World! Blair could not stop smiling as she met all of her favorite characters. Blair will always remember when she went to the magical place of Walt Disney World and she now knows from experience that wishes really do come true.

Blair had an unforgettable time exploring all the parks and seeing her favorite characters come to life. Blair’s family enjoyed the vacation from their day-to-day lives and they created memories that will last a lifetime. The Walt Disney World experience gave Blair a renewed sense of hope, strength for her journey ahead, and joy that filled her heart.
