Downunder Horsemanship, clinician Clinton Anderson’s company that is dedicated to helping horse owners learn how to safely and effectively work with their horses, announces its partnership with Make-A-Wish North Texas in an effort to help grant wishes for children fighting life-threatening medical conditions. With a large monetary contribution, Downunder Horsemanship is pleased to support the nation’s largest wish-granting organization.
Clinton Anderson and Downunder Horsemanship first became involved with the foundation when 17-year-old wish kid Ashley wished to meet Clinton in 2011. Clinton and his wife Amy hosted Ashley for a truly magical wish experience out at their ranch in Stephenville.
“That experience touched me personally, and the more I learned about Make-A-Wish and what they do, I felt strongly that Downunder Horsemanship should get involved,” Clinton says. “While Downunder Horsemanship is committed to inspiring the dreams of horsemen, Make-A-Wish works just as diligently to keep children and their families inspired.”
Clinton decided he wanted to help other children’s wishes come true just like Ashley’s and became a member of the Wish Benefactor Society. Clinton is a generous support of the Make-A-Wish mission and has chosen the Foundation as his preferred philanthropy.
