Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurants across the country will encourage their guests to “Eat-A-Dish for Make-A-Wish” to help raise funds for Make-A-Wish from April 25 – July 3, 2013. The campaign includes donations to Make-A-Wish through the purchase of featured menu items as well as by guest donations through the purchase of Star Cards .

7 year-old Zander has wished to be a Zookeeper and we need YOUR help! On May 12^th Zander was declared an Honorary Zookeeper. Minutes later he received breaking news that an alligator had been spotted on the loose in Dallas. His first task as Zookeeper is to track down the alligator and safely transport it to its new home at the Dallas Zoo.

Zander’s Hunt for the alligator begins!

At 8:30am Zander will be called to the Make-A-Wish office where he will receive an important note from former President George W. Bush. The former president asks Zander to check out some suspicious tracks at the presidential library construction site. There, Zander will follow the tracks to a clue which will lead him on a scavenger hunt around Downtown Dallas in hopes of securing the alligator.

You’re invited to the 7,000th Wish “watch party”

• Enjoy live music, food and entertainment while watching Zander track the alligator

• Visit the sign station and make signs to greet Zander upon his arrival
• Interact with animals from the Dallas Zoo
• Be an active part of a wish—participate in Zander’s rescue of the alligator and help send-off the two for a fun filled day at the Dallas Zoo
