Ready to learn more about Make-A-Wish, our volunteer opportunities, and become an active volunteer?
Complete our volunteer orientation today! This orientation will include an introduction to Make-A-Wish at a national level, Make-A-Wish North Texas on a local level, and details about the ways that you can get involved as a volunteer. All volunteers must first submit a volunteer application and then complete this orientation in order to be considered an active volunteer.
Are you ready to begin your orientation? You may complete your orientation in one of two ways. If you prefer to watching this training via webinar, click here and log in with the log in information that you received from our Volunteer Coordinator when you submitted your volunteer application. This webinar covers information about Make-A-Wish on a national level. As you know, Make-A-Wish North Texas is our local chapter, so we have a one page Make-A-Wish North Texas fact sheet for you to review after you have watched the webinar. If you would prefer to download a PDF document and read through the orientation, you may download the document here. If you chose to read through the PDF document, please email Volunteer Coordinator, Anna Haro, at firstname.lastname@example.org to let her know that you have read the document. Upon completion of this orientation, you will receive an email from our Volunteer Coordinator confirming that you are now an active volunteer.
For those of you who are interested in granting wishes, we ask that you attend an additional training. Make-A-Wish hosts at least one wish granter training each month. Once you have completed your volunteer orientation, please sign up for wish granter training.
