(November 13, 2013) - Make-A-Wish North Texas, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization that grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy, announces four new Board Members to serve on the Board of Directors.
Under his leadership, NRG has grown its business to over half a billion dollars of real estate and another half billion on the books in various levels of development. Mr. Evers is also a Partner at glendonTodd Capital, a private equity firm focused on the business services sector and the healthcare industry. Additionally, he is an affiliate of Associated Builders and Contractors, Associated General Contractors, Healthcare Executives Network, Aggies Professional Network, and a board member of Frisco Square Development Committee. Mr. Evers is also a member of the North Texas chapter of the Young Presidents’ Organization. Mr. Evers frequently serves as a speaker on the panel of Bisnow’s Healthcare Summits in Dallas.
Shari Krueger is a Principal with Krueger Connect
, a boutique consulting and referral firm that collaborates with business leaders seeking to grow revenue streams and expand their sphere of influence in the business community. She previously served as Deputy Director of Outreach for former Mayor of Dallas,Tom Leppert, in his bid for U.S.Senate and also served as liaison/host for convention speakers and dignitaries for the 40th Republican National Convention in 2012.
Prior to her political career, Ms. Krueger served as a senior executive and a business development specialist in the human capital consulting industry, working for market-leading firms DBM and Lee Hecht Harrison. She is considered a “rainmaker” in long-standing relationships with Fortune 500 and global corporations, private business/investment groups, and high-profile political figures.
A native of Pilot Point, Texas, Ms. Krueger received her Bachelors of Science degree from Bob Jones University in secondary education. A 3-time marathoner and a gardener sorely lacking a green thumb, she lives in Dallas with her husband, Eric, and has two grown step-children, Colton & Erica.

Leslie Starr Keating is Senior Vice President of PepsiCo’s North America Foods Supply Chain.
She leads a 24,000-person strong team responsible for making and moving Frito-Lay snacks and Quaker foods across the U.S. and Canada. Mrs. Keating has been with PepsiCo for 28 years and has also served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Frito-Lay North America. She received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech and an MBA from Georgia State.
